  My favorite movie is Home Alone. This movie was released July 6, 1991 in the World. The director is Chris Columbus. Main actor are Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern. Home Alone get to Academy Award for Original Music Score and Academy Award for Original Best Song. Box office results was $476,684,657 in the world.  A family decides to go to Paris together. However, Kevin, the son, is left alone in the house in the confusion of their departure. Kevin is elated at the prospect of living alone for the first time. Then, a pair of thieves who are after his house in his absence notice the house he is staying in. Kevin sets out to fight them off in order to protect his home. The first foreign movie I ever saw was Home Alone. I saw this movie when I was about the same age as Kevin, the main character in Home Alone. I remember making a TV recording and watching it over and over. One of the scenes I remember in particular is the one where he puts on his father's irritating shavi...

The film is structured in such a way that it begins with the ending, why is the ending the way it is? and then the mystery is unraveled. I've never seen a movie structured like this before, and it was exciting and a new feeling for me.

Stanley Kubrick

I had never seen a single Stanley Kubrick film. My impression from many of the trailers was that many of the scenes were violent and exciting. Also, the music during these scenes was distinctive and habit-forming. The music, especially during the horror scenes in "The Shining," was very scary.
